There are shoots that reaffirm why I love my job. This is it. I met LeeAnn through my best friend. She is so breathtaking that I knew that when she asked me to take her engagement photos they were gonna be amazing. Well I was right! LeeAnn and Miguel are such the beautiful couple! He asked for her hand at the Mission Inn in Riverside and so it was fitting that we take their photos there as well. Every shot made me sigh as it was better than the last. The thing about this shoot is that it was so natural! This is them! No gimmicks or phoniness. I am so honored that they chose me to capture this special time in their lives. I love meeting up with friends from my high school days! Pina and I shared many classes together and I cant believe that it has been 10 years since our last meeting!! I guess I am getting old aren't I!? It was wonderful to see her and meet her husband and her lil bump! Such a beautiful couple in love! The way that Jorge reached for her and made sure Pina was ok with every step touched my heart. They were a dream to photograph and baby Rimada is one lucky lil boy to have a Mom and Dad that are as fabulous as them! Congratulations Pina and Jorge!

Some of the greatest things I get to photograph are families that have grown by one or two or are just starting out! This one was the latter! My friend Melissa and her husband of one year expanded to three with the addition of sweet Landon! The love this family has for one another is very evident in their images and it brings a smile to my face! Family is an amazing thing isn't it? There just isn't anything like having a family to call your own! Just looking at the Akana family would make anyone want exactly what they have! How wonderful it is to know that true love is out there and this is what it looks like!
